Tree in slumber

Artwork & title by Max, 9 years old (Canberra, Australia) Poem by Kiersten, 11 years old (Geneva, Switzerland)

It's true that our Earth is one of a kind

But it was better without us, keep in mind.

By cutting trees down, we've lost quite a lot,

We've gained unhelpful things, like a planet that's hot.

Let's leave the trees alone for their sake,

So that a forest can grow in their wake.
