Community Green Actions

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, members of the Municipality of Cabatuan Community Red Cross Youth came together to conduct a 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙐𝙥 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 at 𝘽𝙧𝙜𝙮. 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙣, 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙣, 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤, Philippines. In observance of Labor Day, acts to show that hard work extends beyond jobs and involves maintaining a clean community.

CabComRCY members come together with 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎𝒔, 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔, and 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒉 𝒃𝒂𝒈𝒔, ready to make a difference. Together, we picked up trash and tidied up areas, showing the power of teamwork. This clean-up campaign is about improving our community more than just picking up trash; a clean environment leads to in safer community and happier citizens.

Luna & Me is a true story of a girl who lived in a tree to save a forest. The book was written by Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw.

"Environmental cleanliness begins with each individual desire to clean"

On 5 April 2024, the Sangguniang Kabataan (Youth Council) of Barangay Amerang, Cabatuan, Iloilo, Philippines conducted their first monthly cleanup drive operation themed "A clean place is a safe place!" to maintain a cleaner community and to show the youth that there's beauty in acts of volunteerism.
